Nam Kwon Kang

Date Reported Missing : November 1st, 1996
Missing From : St. John's, Newfoundland
Age at time of Disappearance : 27 years

 
Circumstances :
Mr. Kang arrived in Canada from Korea and vanished while visiting a friend in St. John's on November 1st, 1996 after only one week in the city. Kang was an experienced rock climber who had been climbing in the area of Kelly Island and Signal Hill in the days leading up to his disappearance. Kang was a paratrooper, martial arts expert and an experienced rock climber. His personal belongings were left at his apartment, Kang had been studying at Toronto Hansaw Language school and was a past member of the Korean Forces.


Pamela Asprey

Date Reported Missing: November 12th, 1984
Missing From : St. John's, Newfoundland
Age at time of Disappearance: 20 years

Circumstances :
Pamela Asprey went missing from St. John's on November 12th, 1984. Asprey was reported missing by her roommate two days after last seen alive. Asprey was known to frequent the Duckworth Street area of St. John's and was last seen getting into a vehicle near the War Memorial. The male operator of this vehicle was described as having a large build and wore a baseball hat. Asprey had left her wallet with a friend at a nearby bar advising that she would return in twenty minutes, she was never seen again.
 

Sharon Drover

Date Reported Missing: December 29th, 1978
Missing From : St. John's, Newfoundland
Age at time of Disappearance: 17 years

Circumstances :
Sharon Drover was last seen on December 29th, 1978. Drover left her boarding house on Livingstone Street in downtown St. John's to go to work the evening shift at McDonalds Restaurant on Kenmount Road, St. John's. She completed her shift after midnight and it is believed that she intended to hitch-hike home. Following publicity in the 1990s two brothers came forward stating that on December 29th, 1978 they picked up a female hitch-hiker on Kenmount Road and dropped her off on Long's Hill adjacent to the apartment she was residing at. They believe this was Sharon Drover. After exiting their vehicle the young woman spoke to some people near the front door of her apartment. They had the impression that the conversation was heated. Moments later the young woman was seen running south on Long's Hill.
 



Henrietta Mille

Date Reported Missing: December 10th, 1982
Missing From: St. John's, Newfoundland
Age at time of Disappearance: 25 years old

Circumstances :
Henrietta Mille was originally from Nain, Labrador but had been living in St. John's for some time prior to her disappearance. She was known to frequent clubs in the downtown area one of which was the Key Club. After her disappearance numerous persons were interviewed and it is believed that on the night of her disappearance she had been having trouble with at least two men at the club and may have left the club against her will. Her keys and purse along with other belongings were found at the club. Mille did not return for her personal belongings and was never seen again.


Daniel Joseph Pickett

Date Reported Missing: October 25th, 2006
Missing From: St. John's, Newfoundland
Age at time of Disappearance: 25 year old

Circumstances :
Daniel Pickett was a fisherman who was working on a vessel that had been tied up at the small boat basin in Fort Amherst, St. John's. Daniel had gone out with crew members to the George Street bar district and was last seen between 10-11 p.m. on 2006-10-24. Daniel never returned to the vessel that night and missed his ride to Clarenville the next day at 1 p.m. on 2011-10-25. Daniel is described as 5'7", 150lbs with blue eyes and blonde hair. He was said to have been in good mental and physical condition when last seen.

Circumstances:
On November 9th, 1996 Adam, Mitchell and Trevor O'Brien were abducted by their father Gary Joseph O'Brien. O'Brien failed to return the three children to their mother and rigged their family home in Torbay to explode. Neither Gary nor the three children have been seen since. An extensive an ongoing investigation which has expanded boarders have identified numerous leads which have been investigated, however their whereabouts are still unknown. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children have age enhanced photos on their website. Their abduction has been featured on "Americas Most Wanted" and "The Montel Williams Show".
