RNC Seek Public Assistance to Locate Stolen ATVs

(ST. JOHN’S, NL) September 5, 2012 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is requesting the assistance of the general public in providing information regarding stolen ATVs.

On Saturday, August 18, 2012 between the morning hours of 12:00 am and 7:00 am, a 2009 blue Yamaha Rhino was stolen from a residential property on Cochrane Pond Road in St. John’s, NL.

Between 3:30 pm on August 30, 2012 and 5:15 pm on Saturday, September 1, 2012, a 2008 red and black Honda Fourtrax TRX420 ATV plate number VDN- 817 was stolen from a residential property on Pouch Cove Highway in Pouch Cove, NL.

Also, between Wednesday evening, August 29, 2012 and 9:00 am on Sunday, September 2, 2012, a 2006 red Honda 350 FM6 TRX ATV plate number VDF- 345 was stolen from a residential property on Howletts Line in St. John’s, NL.

The RNC General Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate these thefts of ATVs and is seeking the assistance of the general public. Anyone that may have any information in relation to this crime is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
