(ST. JOHN’S, NL), March 27, 2020– The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has launched online reporting for non-emergent incidents.
With a focus on accessibility and dedication to building safe and healthy communities together, the RNC has launched online reporting services for non-emergent incidents through the RNC website. The incidents which would be reported utilizing this reporting tool would not require an immediate response, and we ask that you contact 9-1-1 in a case of an emergency.
Our community will now be able to report non-emergent incidents by visiting the RNC website at www.rnc.gov.nl.ca. The reporting tool is located under the ‘Service’ menu on the home page. The reporting of incidents such as motor vehicle collisions, property damage and theft, among other types of events, can be submitted through this method, and an officer will follow up based on priority.
The RNC is pleased to be able to provide our community with the ability to report non-emergent incidents with ease and efficiency, especially as we all work together to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We want to remind our community to be diligent in heeding the orders put in place by our government officials, which assist us in mitigating risk in our communities.
