Positions within the Department of Justice and Public Safety are considered “positions of trust”. A thorough background investigation will be completed on selected candidates who advance through the pre-employment polygraph examination. These candidates will be subject to a background investigation through police and court data banks and other sources including, but not limited to, the following:
- Criminal Records check
- Employment references check
- Security clearance check
- Police information systems check
