Stage 2 – Screening Process

A selection committee will review all information submitted by the applicant and determine if the applicant meets the minimum requirements to proceed to the next stage of the selection process. Failure to follow specific direction will result in your file being screened out.

For this stage candidates may be screened out for the following:

  • Incomplete application
  • Omitted questions on Pre-Polygraph Questionnaire
  • Disclosures within Pre-Polygraph Questionnaire

In addition to not meeting basic application requirements, throughout the process candidates may be screened out for the following reasons:

  • Failure to meet the Physical Abilities Requirement Evaluation (PARE) requirement
  • Falsifying information provided in interview
  • Failure to disclose information which may result in an incomplete polygraph
  • Fit For Work assessment

You are strongly encouraged to proof read all documents. Candidates will be notified via email at the various stages of the recruitment process.
