(St. John’s, NL) October 25, 2024 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is seeking information following a suspicious vehicle fire in St. John’s.

At approximately 10 p.m. on Tuesday (Oct. 22), Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of vehicle fire on Main Road in Goulds, just south of Ruby Line. Upon arrival, officers located two vehicles engulfed in flames in a commercial parking lot.

Investigators have determined that an individual was seen in the area carrying a gas can prior to the event. The subject appears to be wearing a black hat, brown jacket, dark pants and dark boots. The RNC is seeking any information, or video footage (CCTV, dash camera) in the area from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
