(St. John’s, NL) November 26, 2024 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has charged an inmate following an altercation at Her Majesty’s Penitentiary.
On November 19, correctional officers reported that a fight had occurred, and an inmate sustained injuries that required medical treatment.
As a result of the RNC investigation, 38-year-old Philip Pynn has been charged with assault and choking.
Pynn remains in custody and appeared in court today.
