Man Facing Impaired Driving Charges in Corner Brook

(Corner Brook, NL) October 22, 2024 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) have laid impaired driving charges following a report in Corner Brook.

At approximately 5:45 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 20), Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of a potentially impaired driver in the area of Park Street. Responding officers located the suspect vehicle in the area minutes later.

Following an investigation, the operator, a 55-year-old man from Stephenville, was charged with impaired driving and refusing to provide a breath sample. The accused was issued a driving suspension, and his vehicle was seized from the scene. He was released from custody to appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
