(St. John’s, NL) December 20, 2024 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is investigating allegations of fraud involving a Conception Bay South woman.
To date, 46-year-old Valerie Barter has been charged in relation to fraudulent activity involving a not-for-profit violence prevention organization. She will appear in court today on charges of:
- Fraud under $5,000;
- Uttering a forged document; and,
- Forgery.
The investigation is ongoing.
