(St. John’s, NL) April 17, 2025 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has charged a St. John’s man following a string of armed robberies that occurred on the Northeast Avalon.
There were no injuries reported but the man was able to get away with an unknown quantity of cash from three convenience stores in St. John’s and Paradise in the early morning hours of Tuesday and Wednesday.
The 22-year-old is facing 20 charges that include:
- Three counts of robbery with an offensive weapon
- Three counts of disguise with intent
- Three counts of possession of a weapon with a dangerous purpose
- Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
- Flight from police
- Escaping lawful custody
- Eight breaches of a court order.
The accused is being held for court tomorrow.
