RNC in Labrador City Arrest Impaired Driver

(Labrador City, NL) January 19, 2026 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has charged a Quebec man with impaired driving.

Operational Patrol Services responded to the area of Avalon Drive in Labrador City to a report of a possible impaired driver around 1:15 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 17).

The 35-year-old was arrested and subsequently charged with refusal, operating while prohibited and breaches. His vehicle was impounded and license suspended. He was released to appear in court at a later date.
