(Labrador City, NL) February 16, 2026 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) in Labrador West arrested a man for impaired driving.
On Friday (Feb. 13) shortly before 11:30 a.m., Operational Patrol Services received a report of a possible impaired driver near the hospital on Route 500.
Officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle at a home nearby. As a result of the investigation, the 48-year-old was charged with impaired driving and had his driver’s license suspended. He was released to appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
