(St. John’s, NL) July 31, 2025 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) are investigating a serious motor vehicle collision that occurred in Torbay.

On July 30, 2025, at about 1:20 a.m., RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) and Accident Investigation (AI) responded to a single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle in the area of Torbay Road, between RCAF Road and Cox Marsh Road.

The operator remains in hospital in critical condition at this time.

RNC collision analysts are seeking any witnesses or video footage (CCTV, dash-camera, cell phone) from the area, including lead up to the collision. The RNC are also looking to speak with the operator of a green and white sport motorcycle, believed to be travelling with the motorcycle involved in the collision, as they may have pertinent information to assist in the investigation.
