(St. John’s, NL) May 7, 2025 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is investigating following a single-vehicle collision in St. John’s.

Around 10:15 p.m. yesterday (May 6), Operational Patrol Services responded to the Trans Canada Highway where a vehicle had left the road between the Topsail Road and Thorburn Road exits. There was significant damage to the vehicle.

The 43-year-old male driver was rushed to hospital having sustained serious injuries.

RNC collision analysts are seeking any witnesses or video footage (CCTV, dash-camera, cell phone) from the area around the time of the crash. Anyone with information that may assist the investigation is asked to contact the RNC at 709-729-8000.
