(St. John’s, NL) November 18, 2024 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is investigating a weapons offence that occurred in St. John’s.

Just after 10 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 16), Operational Patrol Services responded to the Buckmaster’s Circle area of St. John’s following multiple reports of gunshots. Responding officers quickly determined shots had been fired at a home near Navy Street. The occupants of the home were not injured.

The RNC is asking anyone with information or video footage (CCTV, dash-camera, cell phone) from this area between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. to contact police at 709-729-8000.
