RNC Investigating Hit-and-Run

(St. John’s, NL) April 1, 2026 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is seeking the public’s help as it investigates a two-vehicle collision in Mount Pearl.

Just before 11:30 p.m. yesterday (March 31), Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of a hit-and-run in the area of Bruce Street and the Trans-Canada Highway interchange. Two people were sent to hospital with what is believed to be minor injuries.

Following the collision, the suspect vehicle, described as a white pick-up truck, continued east on the Trans-Canada.

RNC Collision Reconstructionists are seeking any information, including video footage (CCTV, dash camera, cell phone), from the area in the lead up to and following the collision.
