RNC Investigating Pedestrian Collision in St. John’s

(St. John’s, NL) May 28, 2025 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is investigating following a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian in St. John’s.

Around 5:50 p.m. yesterday (May 27), Operational Patrol Services responded to the area of New Gower Street at Springdale Street. Responding officers located a white SUV involved in the collision and its operator at the scene. The pedestrian, a 39-year-old male, was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

RNC collision analysts are seeking any witnesses or video footage (CCTV, dash cam, cell phone) from the area around the time of the collision. Anyone with information that may assist the investigation is asked to contact the RNC at 709-729-8000.
