(St. John’s, NL) September 16, 2025 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has arrested a man following a weapons offence in St. John’s.
Shortly after 8:30 a.m. today, Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of a man carrying a firearm in the centre city area. Responding officers located the male suspect in the area of Carter’s Hill where he was found to be in possession of an imitation handgun.
As a result of the investigation, the 35-year-old from St. John’s was charged with two counts of breaching a firearms prohibition and carrying a concealed weapon. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
