RNC Release Photos of Armed Robbery Suspect

(ST. JOHN’S, NL), November 29, 2019 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) General Investigation Unit (GIU) have released photos of a suspect in connection with an armed robbery which occurred at a business in St. John’s.

On Tuesday, November 12, 2019, just before 11:00 pm, RNC operational patrol services division (OPS) and police dog service (PDS) responded to a report of an armed robbery at a business on Ropewalk Lane in St. John’s. A suspect reportedly approached the service counter, presented a weapon and demanded cash. The suspect obtained cash, then exited the building and fled the area prior to police arrival. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is a man, described to be about five feet and eight inches tall, with short blonde hair, wearing a dark jacket.
