(St. John’s, NL), December 5, 2018 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) General Investigation Unit (GIU) is investigating a break and entry that occurred at a convenience store in Southlands.
On Saturday, November 3, 2018, just after 3:20 am, the RNC responded to a report of a Break and Entry at the Orange Store on Great Southern Drive in Southlands (St. John’s.) Two men forced their way into the business and, using power tools, attempted to gain entry into the on-site Automated Teller Machine (ATM.) The men were not successful and fled in a vehicle shortly before responding officers arrived.
Anyone with information on this break and entry is asked to call the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can now provide information anonymously on the NL Crime Stoppers Website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
