(St. John’s, NL) January 19, 2026 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is investigating a fatal ATV collision in Portugal Cove – St. Philips.

On Saturday (Jan.17) at approximately 3 p.m., Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of a single ATV collision on Windsor Heights. Accident Investigation and Forensic Identification Services were engaged to assist the investigation. A 22-year-old male was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The RNC is offering sincere condolences to family and friends of the deceased.

The collision is not believed to be criminal in nature.
