(St. John’s, NL) April 7, 2025 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is investigating a weekend weapons offence in St. John’s.

Around 4 p.m. Saturday (April 5), patrol officers responded to a report of gunshots being fired in the area of Druken Crescent. Responding officers were able to confirm a weapons offence had occurred, however, there was no property damage observed and no injuries reported. This is believed to be a targeted event. At this time, there is no information to suggest this investigation is connected to a previous weapons offence reported earlier in the day.

The RNC Criminal Investigation Division is seeking any information, or video footage from the area of Druken Crescent, Drugget Place, and Linegar Avenue between 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
