(Labrador City, NL) May 3, 2025 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) in Labrador City issued a 7-day suspension after receiving a tip from the public.

On Friday (May 2) at 11 p.m., Operational Patrol Services in Labrador West received a call regarding a possible impaired driver. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic safety stop in the area of Grenfell Ave in Wabush. The male driver registered a warning when administered the roadside screening device which resulted in a driving suspension and his vehicle being impounded.
