Wabush Man Charged with Impaired Driving

(Labrador City, NL) July 15, 2025 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has charged a man with impaired driving in Labrador.

Operational Patrol Services initiated a traffic safety stop just before 11:30 p.m. yesterday (July 14) on Route 500 near Labrador City.

The 32-year-old male driver has been charged with impaired driving, having a blood alcohol level over 80 mg%, and refusing to provide a breath sample. The accused had his vehicle seized and licence suspended. He will appear in court at a later date.
