Woman Charged with Impaired Driving Following Collision

(Corner Brook, NL) July 15, 2025 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has charged a woman with impaired driving following a single-vehicle collision in Corner Brook.

Operational Patrol Services responded to Bayview Heights Sunday (July 13) shortly before 4 p.m. following a report that a vehicle had left the road and collided with a tree. There were no injuries.

The 33-year-old was subsequently charged with impaired driving and having a blood alcohol level over 80 mg%. She also had her vehicle seized and licence suspended. She will appear in court at a later date.

Two other impaired drivers were stopped by Corner Brook RNC over the weekend thanks to tips from the public.
