RNC Make Arrest Following Disturbance in Labrador City

(Labrador City, NL), April 5, 2022 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) made an arrest after responding to a disturbance in Labrador City.

On Sunday, April 2, 2022, at approximately 11:45 pm, RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) responded to a report of a disturbance at an apartment building on Cavendish Crescent in Labrador City. Responding officers located a male and female believed to be involved in the event inside an apartment at that location. Officers observed that the male had multiple minor injuries.

As a result of an investigation in to the event, a 31-year-old female from Labrador City was arrested and charged with assault and assaulting a police officer. The accused was held to appear before a judge in relation to the charges.
