(St. John’s) November 9, 2017 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is pleased to announce the promotion of seven commissioned officers to the ranks of Deputy Chief, Superintendent, and Inspector within the organization following a competitive selection process.
- Inspector Paul F. Woodruff has been promoted to the rank of Deputy Chief of Police.
- Inspector Shawn C. O’Reilly has been promoted to the rank of Superintendent.
- Inspector Edmund A. Oates has been promoted to the rank of Superintendent.
Additionally, the following Sergeants have been promoted as new commissioned officers to the rank of Inspector:
- Sergeant B. Paul Roche
- Sergeant F. Alexander Brennan
- Sergeant Sharon B. Warren
- Sergeant Thomas G. Warren
