(Labrador City, NL) May 6, 2025 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) in Labrador City has arrested a man for dangerous driving.
Just before 3 a.m. Sunday (May 4) Operational Patrol Services attempted to stop a vehicle that was observed driving at a high rate of speed in the area of Hudson Drive. The vehicle failed to stop for police and a short pursuit was initiated before being discontinued in the interest of public safety. This same vehicle was located multiple times by officers in a three-hour period being driven in a dangerous manner.
The suspect vehicle and the 37-year-old male driver were later located at his residence. He was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and flight from police. He was released to appear in court at a later date.
