(St. John’s, NL) May 12, 2025 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is celebrating police week and community connections.
The weeklong awareness campaign is an opportunity to highlight the vital partnerships between police, its partner agencies, and the organizations and people they serve.
Public safety requires more than just enforcement — it requires a collaborative approach to address the root causes of crime. Police week is an opportunity to highlight some of the exceptional everyday work of police officers that often goes unnoticed and unreported.
The RNC salutes its almost 400 officers who each and every day risk harm to themselves in exchange for public safety.
This police week the RNC proudly reaffirms that it is #CommittedToServeTogether to ensure a better and safer Newfoundland and Labrador for all.
