(St. John’s, NL) June 17 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is looking for help from the public following an assault in the centre of St. John’s.
Just after 12:30 a.m. today, Operational Patrol Services responded to the area of Salisbury Street where a man was located with serious injuries.
The Major Crime Unit is working to determine what happened and is looking to speak to any witnesses and obtain video footage (CCTV, dash-camera, cell phone) from the area encompassing Newtown Road, Salisbury Street, Cairo Street and Empire Avenue between 10 p.m. yesterday (June 16) and 1 a.m. today (June 17).
