(St. John’s, NL) August 14, 2025 — The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is investigating a hit and run vehicle-pedestrian collision in Conception Bay South.

Around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday (Aug. 12), Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of a collision on Peachytown Road. The suspect vehicle had left the scene prior to police arrival.

The 49-year-old female pedestrian was sent to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

RNC collision analysts are seeking any information or video footage from the area of Peachytown Town Road and Conception Bay Highway between 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Tuesday.
