RNC Make More Arrests in Ongoing Drug Investigation

(St. John’s, NL) September 19, 2025 — An ongoing Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) intra-provincial drug trafficking investigation has resulted in more arrests and seizures.

In July, the Weapons and Drug Investigation Unit (WDEU) executed a search warrant at a home in the east end of St. John’s resulting in the seizure of:

  • Two semi-automatic rifles
  • Ammunition and multiple magazines
  • 1.5 kilograms of cocaine
  • A quantity of pills suspected to be fentanyl
  • $100,000 cash.

In August, the WDEU executed another search warrant at a home in Paradise where they seized:

  • Six kilograms of cocaine
  • $300,000 in cash.

Three men ages, 30, 19 and 59, have been arrested with charges pending. The investigation is ongoing.
