RNC in Labrador City Arrest Impaired Driver

(Labrador City, NL) October 23, 2025 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has charged a man with impaired driving related offences in Labrador City.

Operational Patrol Services received a report of a possible impaired driver around 8 p.m. yesterday (Oct. 22). The suspect vehicle was subsequently located and a traffic stop conducted.

The 42-year-old male driver was arrested for impaired driving. He was also charged with refusing to provide a breath sample, resisting arrest, and uttering threats. The driver had his vehicle impounded and licence suspended. He was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
