(Corner Brook, NL) November 28, 2025 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) responded to a residential fire in Frenchman’s Cove.

On Thursday (Nov. 27) shortly after 7 p.m., Operational Patrol Services responded to a fire at a property on Strickland’s Road. When officers arrived on scene, the fire which had started in the shed, had spread to the adjacent home. The Lark Harbour and Mount Moriah fire departments extinguished the fire however, both structures were lost. All occupants of the residence were able safely exit, without injury.

This fire is not believed to be suspicious.
