RNC Charge Male with Impaired Driving

(Labrador City, NL) December 9, 2025 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has charged a male with impaired driving in Labrador City.

On Dec. 3 at approximately 10 p.m., Operational Patrol Services received an impaired driving complaint that described a man who was publicly live-streaming video on TikTok and indicated he was operating a snowmobile and may be impaired. Officers were able to locate the operator of the skidoo in the area of Murphy Avenue based on the video.

The 22-year-old male was charged with impaired driving offences, his licence was suspended, and the snowmobile was seized. He was released to appear in court at a later date.
