(St. John’s, NL) December 10, 2025 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) can now confirm two suspicious deaths in St. John’s are being investigated as homicides.
Two men, ages 38 and 53, were found deceased inside an Aldershot Street home on Dec. 1. The RNC has been working with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the causes of death.
The investigative team continue to canvass the area, review video and conduct interviews. No arrests have been made, however, at this time there is no information to suggest that these were random attacks.
The RNC extends its sincere condolences to the families and friends of the deceased.
As in any investigation, the RNC relies on information from the public. Officers are appealing for video footage from the Rabbittown neighbourhood from 8 p.m. Nov. 30 to 9 a.m. on Dec. 1. Anyone with information is urged to contact the RNC by calling 709-729-8000. The investigative team can also be reached directly by email at: report@rnc.gov.nl.ca.
