RNC Charge Man with Trafficking

(St. John’s, NL) December 10, 2025 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has charged a man with trafficking following a drug seizure in St. John’s.

The Weapons and Drug Enforcement Unit (WDEU) arrested Zachery Mulrooney at a shopping centre yesterday where he was found to be in possession of a quantity of pills that appear to be Dilaudid but are expected to contain more noxious substances. Further laboratory testing by Health Canada is required.

The 19-year-old was held in custody and will appear in court today charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

The investigation is ongoing.
