(Corner Brook, NL) February 16, 2026 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) laid impaired charges and seized three vehicles in the Corner Brook over the Valentine’s weekend.
On Feb. 15, officers conducted an early morning traffic stop on Gillam’s Road. The 28-year-old male driver failed a roadside screening test and has his vehicle seized and license suspended. He was also charged for breaching a probation order. He was released to appear in court at a later date.
Hours later, officers conducted a traffic stop on Main Street that resulted in impaired driving charges. The 26-year-old had his licence suspended and vehicle seized and will appear in court at a later date.
An additional traffic stop on Broadway Street that morning led to the seizure of a vehicle as the 24-year-old driver had a suspended license.
