RNC Charge Man with Recent Torbay Property Crimes

(St. John’s, NL) February 16, 2026 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has arrested a man wanted for break and enter and thefts.

Operational Patrol Services responded to Torbay Road yesterday (Feb. 15) at approximately 1 p.m., after receiving information that wanted person Darryl Picco was in the area. Responding officers located Picco and arrested him for a number of outstanding charges, including a residential break and enter in Torbay.

The 44-year-old has been charged with:

  • Break and Enter
  • Three Counts of Theft Under $5,000
  • Public Mischief
  • Breaches of a Release Order

Picco was held to appear in court.
