RNC in Labrador City Arrest Impaired Driver

(Labrador City, NL) March 30, 2026 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has charged a man with impaired driving.

Yesterday (March 29) at approximately 2:15 a.m., Operational Patrol Services observed a male operating a side-by-side on Humber Avenue in Labrador City. Officers conducted a traffic safety stop where the driver failed the roadside screening.

As a result, the 44-year-old driver was arrested and subsequently charged with impaired driving and operating over the legal limit. His vehicle was impounded and license suspended. He was released to appear in court at a later date.
