(St. John’s, NL), April 16, 2024 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is searching for a man wanted in connection with violent offences in St. John’s.
Just after midnight Tuesday (April 16), patrol officers responded to a report of a disturbance in progress at a centre-city home. Responding officers located a woman inside with visible physical injuries and it was determined that a man had fled the area.
As a result of the investigation, a warrant is now in effect for Jerry KINSELLA of St. John’s on charges related to the event. The RNC is actively seeking any information to assist in locating the 32-year-old accused who is facing the following charges:
- Assault
- Two counts of choking
- Four counts of failure to comply with a release order
- Two counts of breach of probation
In a case of a sighting of KINSELLA, do not approach, and contact the RNC immediately. He is described to be 5’10”, 155 lbs, with a bald head, blue eyes and a star tattoo on his right cheek.
