(Corner Brook, NL) September 21, 2026 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) advises that front counter services are temporarily unavailable in Corner Brook.

To speak with an officer regarding an existing matter, or for services typically provided at the detachment, call 709-637-4100 for assistance. In an emergency, always call 911. There is otherwise no change in policing services available in this region.

This closure will accommodate walkway repairs to the main entrance of the Corner Brook detachment. Weather permitting the main entrance should re-open as normal on Friday (Sept. 25).

The RNC apologizes for the inconvenience.
