(St. John’s, NL) June 16, 2026 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has arrested three men following a home invasion in the Rabbittown area of St. John’s.
Operational Patrol Services responded to a home shortly after 10:30 p.m. yesterday (June 15), where they discovered the residence had been vandalized. The victims reported that three men known to them had shown up to their home, forced entry, and fled, after assaulting and threatening the occupants. Shortly thereafter, a second call was received of a disturbance on Hamilton Avenue. Upon arrival, officers quickly determined the matters were related and arrested the three accused. There were no serious injuries reported.
The Criminal Investigation Division was engaged and as a result Suhaid Aless, 18, Kais Aless, 21, and Ibrahim Aless, 29, were charged with the following:
- Break and enter with intent
- Assault
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Two counts of mischief
- Two counts of uttering threats
The three men were held to appear in court.
