(St. John’s, NL) June 26, 2026 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has seized suspected cocaine and cash in a drug stop in Paradise.
As part of an intra-provincial drug trafficking investigation by the Weapons and Drug Enforcement Unit (WDEU), a traffic stop was initiated on St. Thomas Line last night (June 25). During a search of the vehicle and person, officers located:
- Approximately 5.5 ounces of cocaine
- Six grams of crack cocaine
- Assorted pills
- $2,100 cash
- and other drug paraphernalia
A 36-year-old female was arrested but has since been released from custody with charges pending following the results of drug testing. The investigation is ongoing.
