(St. John’s, NL), April 25, 2024 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) arrested a wanted youth in St. John’s.

Patrol officers responded to a report of a suspicious person in the area of Buckmaster Circle this afternoon. Responding officers located a 16-year-old who was wanted on charges for failure to comply with a release order and failure to comply with a sentence order under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

The accused was arrested without incident. The 16-year-old is being held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
