The Autism Registry is designed to aid frontline police officers when responding to calls involving individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The registry is for persons of all ages with Autism Spectrum Disorder. It identifies addresses of an individual with Autism Spectrum Disorder and allows parents/guardians to identify themselves as a parent/guardian of a person with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

By having more information on an individual’s diagnosis, officers will be better equipped to respond to a call involving an individual with Autism Spectrum Disorder which will ultimately increase safety and minimize risk.

The RNC continues to work in partnership with the Autism Society to promote awareness and a greater understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
